In August of 2012, I discovered a disgusting area of mold beneath on of my bathroom sinks and looked in the phone book for a company that might deal with it. Luckily for me, ServiceMaster of Eugene was one of the places I called. They quickly had someone here to evaluate it and take photos. By the afternoon of the same day, I had an e-mail estimate for repairs. After checking their work history and speaking with some previous clients, I decided to have ServiceMaster of Eugene abate the mold, as well as renovate both bathrooms and replace the valves throughout the house.

 Joel was the overseeing contractor and I found it easy to talk with him and to work with him. His crew, including Gill and Matt (most of the general work, including the painting), Joshua and Chris (plumbing), and Bill (flooring) were all professional and courteous. They worked very hard and seemed to take a great deal of care with their craftsmanship and with my home. They kept dust to a minimum, cleaned up water spills, and took away every scrap of trash. I am something of a perfectionist, yet I was extremely pleased with their work.

 After completion of the job, there were a few minor things that needed attention, as a result ServiceMaster quickly sent someone to deal with those details. There was one difficulty that did not come to light until after the job was finished. The flat paint had been used in the bathrooms, and I was concerned that it would not wear well or be as washable as necessary. ServiceMaster promptly repainted both bathrooms and did an excellent job.

 I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I felt that the price was reasonable, and was in line with other estimates I received. The workmanship was excellent, and their efforts for customer satisfaction were outstanding. I am so glad that I called ServiceMaster of Eugene. I will do so again if I need work in the future, and I will recommend them to all my friends and family.

I came home late on a Friday afternoon, to EWEB trucks parked in my drive and all around my house. A water main had broken and they were digging it up and fixing it. They gave me the number for ServiceMaster Restore, although I didn’t think I’d need it. Everything looked normal outside, but when I opened the door “slosh slosh” went my shoes on the floor! I called ServiceMaster and they immediately came out. They worked late into the evening pulling up the wet carpet and setting up the fans. They came back Monday morning and moved my books and bookcases. Using special meters they found the water damage in the walls, so as to remove it all. It was clear they really knew what they were doing. The older guy, John, he was amazing, whistled while he was working, and got more done than most could. The wall was so expertly repaired, and he matched the paint so I can’t tell what was old paint and what’s new paint.

You never want to have a disaster happen to you, and when it does you’re not even sure what all needs to be done. ServiceMaster knew exactly what needed to be done to make things new again. Most of all, they won me over with their knowledge and quality of work.

"I had a leak in my bathroom and it was bad. As soon as my insurance contacted ServiceMaster of Eugene, they responded quickly. The guys came out, removed all the wet insulation and the damage in the bathroom. They set up fans to dry everything out before rebuilding. The two young men were wonderful and worked hard to restore my home. Then a second leak came up in my kitchen! So we got the insurance adjuster out and started the work on my kitchen. Therefore, the girls had to move my antique furniture to the living room and they took great care of my belongings! Robin worked very closely with my insurance and I didn’t have to pay any out of pocket beyond my deductible and the few upgrades I asked for. The entire staff was kind, and did excellent work!"
