Mason City, Iowa – November 1, 2018 – ServiceMaster by Rice (SMR), one of the largest ServiceMaster Restore Franchises in the country, announced they have purchased the ServiceMaster of Mason City Restore Franchise. This acquisition includes Cerro Gordo, Mitchell and Floyd Counties. ServiceMaster of Mason City will retain the janitorial franchise.
The purchase of the Mason City franchise expands the footprint to over 50 counties in Iowa and southern Minnesota. “We are excited about this opportunity. This new territory fits into our footprint perfectly. Our now 12 physical locations are strategically located within an hour of each other. ServiceMaster by Rice has hired Brock Stecker to manage the Mason City Branch. Brock was born and raised in Mason City, graduated from Mason City High School, and went onto receive a degree at the University of Iowa. ServiceMaster by Rice’s management team also has another local tie to the area in Cole Amstutz. Cole grew up in northern Iowa and graduated from Garner-Hayfield-Ventura High School. Cole is currently the Commercial Sales Manager with ServiceMaster by Rice and will be working with Brock to market the ServiceMaster by Rice franchise in the area.
