Ever since ServiceMaster By Rice opened its doors back 1954, we have constantly been growing. In 2010, we started expanding new locations and service areas throughout the state of Iowa and southern Minnesota. In 2015, we were fortunate to acquire the ServiceMaster Avenue of the Saints franchise located out of Marion/Cedar Rapids. Since then, we have tripled both our staff and equipment at that location while also adding another location in Iowa City. We are proud of our Cedar Rapids team and would like to take this time to highlight some of the things that help make that branch so special.
About Our Cedar Rapids Staff
The Marion/Cedar Rapids location is currently managed by Chris Johnson, a highly accredited individual who has overlooked the Cedar Rapids location for years. He is very active among the Linn County community and is always setting goals to help others. Our Sales & Marketing Manager, Cindy Lampe, has been with the company for three years now. Cindy is also a prominent figure in the community and serves as an ambassador on the Marion Chamber of Commerce. Our team also heavily relies on our Office Manager, Christina Torres, and our Billing Coordinator, Jamae Remington, to keep daily operations as smooth as possible. Of course, we could never forget about our IICRC-certified technicians that allow our services to happen in the first place. Thank you to the entire Cedar Rapids staff for your incredible work ethic and willingness to work long, extended hours when emergencies arise.
On top of having some of the best IICRC-certified technicians in the state, our Cedar Rapids location is also a CRT (Commercial Response Team) and QRV (Quality Restoration Vendor) franchise. This means the Cedar Rapids team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Covering a large service area throughout Eastern Iowa has allowed us to work with some highly notable clients throughout the years. Our team has done many notable jobs at local schools, retirement communities, hotels, churches, and more.
University of Iowa
With Iowa City located only about a 30-minute drive from Cedar Rapids, we frequently send crews down to help with commercial cleaning and restoration projects around the University of Iowa campus. We have helped with some of their infamous floods and recently helped with a water damage repair in the Recreation & Wellness Center.
Kirkwood Community College
With campus locations in both Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, we have been able to team up Kirkwood Community College a number of times throughout the years. A short time ago, we helped them with a water pipe break that occurred in a health clinic.
Priority Response Program
