Mitigating a Water Loss
Mitigating a Water Loss is a 3 hour course that informs insurance professionals of the water loss
mitigation process so that they may provide better service to their insureds and provide the
coverage best suited for the insured when selling a policy. The course covers the terminology
of the industry along with common misconceptions people have of water losses and the
benefits of immediate mitigation. After this introduction, the course will walk the attendees
through a water loss from start to finish. This will include industry standards, insured concerns,
the water mitigation process, and developing a plan to better assist insureds when they have a loss.
