After contacting ServiceMaster, what happens?

After contacting ServiceMaster Rapid Response, we will perform an on-site consultation and begin writing up a resolution plan (including an estimate) right away. If your property has sustained moderate to significant damage, other emergency services may be required, such as boarding up the property to prevent further damage from weather or vandalism.

The electrical power should be evaluated by a licensed professional right away. Getting the power back on quickly is a very important step.

In addition, some hazardous debris may need to be cleared away to ensure immediate worker and occupant safety. Slip and trip hazards, along with air quality, are also real dangers; ServiceMaster provides solutions to these problems, as well.

Tip: smoke without fire is still damaging!

After the fire is out, smoke may continue to chemically burn materials and contents, causing further damage. The following materials are at risk and can experience irreversible damages in a short amount of time:

  • marble, stone and grout

To avoid the replacement of these expensive materials or items ServiceMaster Rapid Response will quickly and accurately assess the levels of smoke and fire damage and perform emergency corrosion mitigation. This means we clean at-risk materials right away and treat them with a corrosion inhibitor. By utilizing our extensive experience and advanced equipment and products, we can prescribe the most appropriate course of action for fire and smoke cleaning. We aim to save you time and save you (and your Insurance company) money.
