"Last October, I experienced a kitchen fire. I am 60 yrs. old, live alone (with 3 dogs), and it was the first fire I'd ever experienced. It was truly terrifying, and emotionally draining. The fire occurred on a Sunday evening. After contacting my homeowner's insurance agent that evening, he gave me the names of 3 restorative services agencies to contact but was leaning towards ServiceMaster as the most favorable. I didn't call the other 2, I just called ServiceMaster. The next morning, very early, the initial representative from ServiceMaster was at my door, and by the time he left, he already had staff there, starting initial cleanup. This comes simply and sincerely from my heart- these are wonderful people. They were with me for weeks, and then periodically after that. There were so many people in my home; so friendly concerned, dedicated to what they were doing, and totally trustworthy. Most of the time they were there, I would be at work. They had to go through my whole house. There was NEVER a time that I felt uncomfortable with them there when I was gone. I would confine my 3 dogs to my bedroom to allow the staff to work, and they would periodically let them out to go outside and even play with them for a moment. By the way, my dogs also loved them, and I do believe that dogs have a second sense about people. Lastly, my restoration turned out beautifully and beyond what I even expected. The agents were very careful to listen to what I wanted, and it was very important to them that they were doing things that would enhance my life, not just "fix" my problem. In summary, I would sincerely recommend ServiceMaster to anyone who has had the misfortune to experience a fire or any other home casualty."
